The Budget Speech for the fiscal year 2079/80 declared to decrease the minimum investment amount from Rs. 50 Million to Rs. 20 Million. However, such decrease had not been acknowledged by the cabinet till 14th October 2022.
Following the decision of the cabinet, the notice for the decrease was published in the National Gazette on 14th November 2022.
