Career Profile

Sandesh Sapkota is a licensed practicing advocate based in Kathmandu, Nepal. He has professional experience working with an "A" class commercial bank, NGO sector focused on Refugee Law, Immigration issues, and Human rights. His practice primarily focuses on banking and finance law, corporate advisory, commercial litigation, and intellectual property matters. 

He brings professional experience from the NGO sector, private legal practice, and the banking industry, enabling him to provide well-rounded and commercially pragmatic legal solutions. He is currently pursuing a Master of Laws (LL.M.) with specialization in Criminal Law and Commercial Law, further strengthening his litigation and advisory practice.

He advises domestic and international clients on corporate governance, regulatory compliance, banking regulations, and commercial transactions. His experience includes drafting and reviewing commercial and financial agreements, conducting comprehensive legal research, preparing legal opinions, and representing clients in corporate, banking, and commercial disputes before courts and quasi-judicial bodies across Nepal.

He is committed to delivering diligent, ethical, and solution-oriented legal services, and also undertakes select pro-bono matters in support of access to justice.

Sandesh is an active bar member of the High Court Bar Association, Lalitpur. He has also been involved in academics and has been providing lectures and counseling as a tutor/mentor/counselor at SNAPP Legals for 6 years.
